Because a dead wild tiger is trading at $50 000, because from 100 000 they are no more than 3200, join and support Planète Tigre!

Who are we?

Planète Tigre

To commit oneself to Planète Tigre, is to prevent the extinction of a species threatened by poaching and the destruction of their natural habitat.

For all that you personally do to protect the tiger, the forest is hence for all of us (Mahatma Gandhi)

To wipe out a species of animal is to destroy the part of the dream come true which we need, on a planet whose natural resources regenerate the necessary renewal in order to avoid an entire ecological collapse.

Our policy is to make aware, as many of you as possible, and to inform you of the status of this charismatic big cat and to do this in an evolutionary and fun way. Our aim is to implement in-situ, with the Indian authorities, a program to recreate a protected area, linked to a migration corridor. The tiger population, as a super predator is considered as a good indicator of the stability of the ecosystem.

This willingness, which has already borne fruit in 1973 with the "Project Tiger", under the auspices of Mrs Gandhi, is currently back on the agenda. Planète Tigre, is practical help and support in the field.

Join us and support Planète Tigre!

At the beginning of October 2011, Planète Tigre will meet Indian Political bodies, under the auspices of the Ambassador of France in India in order to work on the list of priorities to implement this project.

The first financial aid, thanks to your donations, will be entrusted to our Indian representative.

"All the tigers and other Asian big cats are registered, since 1975, in Appendix I of CITES, which bans international trade of endangered species". And do not forget

Tigers must not lose their stripes
